  • First install the 22 Amp Hour batteries with the terminals pointing inward in the battery box. connect the positive (red) wire with 50 Amp / 32 Volt in line fuse to the battery on the right. connect the negative (black) wire with 50 Amp / 32 Volt in line fuse to the battery on the Left. Connect the negative wire without a fuse, to the battery on the right. Connect the positve wire without a fuse to the battery on the left.

This extended range (XR) battery pack is designed exclusively for the GB121 and GB124 Golden Technologies Buzzaround mobility scooters. Available as either an empty housing or a fully assembled pack, this component accommodates larger 22AH batteries to provide an operating range of up to 18 miles.

Works as an upgrade from The Standard 12 Volt, 12Ah Battery Pack, Part Number: MBE-121A-BATTPACK that is often found on these scooters.

Battery Wiring Diagram and Installation

Installation guide for those that bought the empty battery box and are installing their own batteries

First install the 22 Amp Hour batteries with the terminals pointing inward (See image below) in the battery box. connect the positive (red) wire with 50 Amp / 32 Volt in line fuse to the battery on the right. connect the negative (black) wire with 50 Amp / 32 Volt in line fuse to the battery on the Left. Connect the negative wire without a fuse, to the battery on the right. Connect the positve wire without a fuse to the battery on the left.
